Welcome back!

Writing Updates:

Spark is on track for its December release! Since it consists of short stories rather than one long story, everything is flowing quickly. I have absolutely no concerns about it being released on time.

Flame is in the middle of getting a makeover! It will be getting a new cover to more closely match Smoke. Catherine Stansfield created the cover for Smoke, is redoing the cover for Flame, and she will also be designing the cover for Spark!

I’m looking to start publishing the Fallout stories in late June/early July, so keep an eye out for those!

Reading Updates:

Since my last post, I’ve re-read Lights Out by Navessa Allen, and I’m currently reading Tourist Season by Brynne Weaver. Since all of the house hunting and moving stuff has been rolling, I’ve had less time to focus on my hobbies. I’ve recently opted for writing over reading in the evenings, but I’m looking into audiobooks more. “Reading” while I’m at my day job will surely help me keep my book count up.

Personal Updates:

We’re still house hunting. I’m still hopeful. And Lord knows I’ve still been praying. It has been a long, exhausting, stress-filled process. However, I know the end result will be worth it all. I am sure that all will work out as it’s meant to. I’m trying very hard to stay positive here, so if anyone has any tips for that, please let me know! I’m used to having general anxiety, but this is a new, giant form of stress that I could’ve never imagined the feeling of.
