August 2026 Updates

Writing Updates:

Nothing has changed regarding Spark or Counting Shards from last month, so I’ve pasted that info here: Spark is in the final edits stage, and its e-book cover is done! My cover designer, Catherine, is hard at work on the full cover, and it will be ready by the time pre-orders are ready to drop on Halloween! As soon as I’m done with the final edits, I’ll move on to drafting Counting Shards.

Inside Vault-Tec now has installments for Vault 3 and Vault 4! A Deer in a Spotlight has two chapters up as of writing this, and the third will be posted sometime this week. All of my fanfics can be found on AO3!

I’ve started a Kofi page where you can get early access to all of my fanfics as well as bonus chapters for my books! One chapter will be posted here each month, but the other page will have 3 every month!

Reading Updates:

Since my last post, I’ve finished The Lost City of Z and The White Darkness by David Grann. Honestly, it wasn’t until I sat down to write this post that I realized both of these books were written by the same author. Now I’m curious as to whether he has more adventurous books out there. Was it his goal to write a book for each continent? The Lost City of Z takes place in South America, and The White Darkness is set in Antarctica.

Personal Updates:

I somehow still have unpacking to do. It feels like it’s never going to end. How did I accumulate so much stuff? It doesn’t make sense to me. I swear I’ve unpacked more boxes than I packed or moved. I’m not sure how that’s possible.
