October 2026 Updates
Welcome back!
Writing Updates:
Spark is entirely done! ARC readers will get their copies on December 1st. Applications to be an ARC reader are open until November 15th!
Counting Shards is in the drafting stage! I’m 26% of the way through the first draft, so we’re still on track for a June 2027 release.
Dabble, the writing software I use, is hosting a two month novel writing project, so I’m using it to (hopefully) get the outline and first draft done by the end of November! If all goes according to plan, Frostbite will be available in December of 2027! I’ll get a page set up for it on my Works in Progress page next week!
Inside Vault-Tec has a new installment: Vault 12! A Deer in a Spotlight has five chapters up as of writing this, and the sixth will be posted later this week. All of my fanfics can be found on AO3!
I’ve started a Kofi page where you can get early access to all of my fanfics!
Reading Updates:
Since my last post, I’ve read Dungeon Crawler Carl by Matt Dinniman and Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo. I just started reading Stalking Jack the Ripper by Kerri Maniscalco.
You can see what I’m reading and when by following me on StoryGraph and Goodreads! If you use StoryGraph, be sure to check out my reading challenge for 2026!
Personal Updates:
All of the house unpacking is done! I’ve started working on the garage, and it seems to be flowing much more smoothly.
I celebrated my birthday yesterday, and I had a wonderful day with my parents and my husband. These people are a beacon of light in my life, and I am eternally grateful to be able to spend another year with them.

I couldn’t do what I do without the support of: my husband; my family; my cover designer, Catherine; and my Discord author group. Thank you all for all that you do!

If you like what I do and are interested in supporting me in all of my writing endeavors, please consider visiting my Kofi page :) I have put a hold on the bonus chapters for now. With the holidays coming up and everything else I have going on, I simply do not have the time to put in the effort they deserve. That can/will change if I get supporters that request them.
See you next month!
